From dream to reality, Liberian Association of Metro Atlanta (LAMA) has a Community Center

My fellow Liberians:          Leo Mulbah

By His undeserved grace and mercy, what seemed an improbable journey some two and a half years ago is now a Reality! Thanks to you and many selfless sons and daughters of our beloved community, I am pleased to inform you that LAMA signed a contract on a 5, 600 sq ft. facility today (LAMA Community Center). And it is located at 4757 Stone Mountain High Way. Lilburn, GA.
In view of the foresaid, it behooves me to equally inform you that phase two of our capital campaign is currently ongoing. More than ever before, LAMA needs your financial, material, spiritual and moral support with the interior decoration of the facility so that we can celebrate our nation’s Independence Day, July 26, in our own place. Hence, please be advised in short order, LAMA will be calling on you to render volunteer labor such as construction, painting, carpeting, and other related skills.
Finally, we could not have reached this milestone without the untiring tenacity, perseverance, determination and persuasive brilliance of some of the most well-dressed minds our community has to offer; a tribute of appreciation is forthcoming.
Again, I thank the community for the incremental gain we have achieved thus far and fervently pray that we continue to work assiduously together in furtherance of our shared objective of a wholesome community with unity of purpose.
As we strive to build a more perfect LAMA, I remain,
Pres. Mulbah
Editor’s Note:
